Overview

The original of a fleet that’s grown to three

Andalucia was the first boat to carry the name into Komodo’s waters, sailing the same run of islands it started on. The name has grown into a small family of boats since, but this one stays close to home, six cabins and a jacuzzi suite, working the park it knows.

The VIP cabin’s jacuzzi

On paper it’s a small detail. In practice, the VIP cabin’s jacuzzi sits behind its own private balcony with sea views as the islands go by, which is exactly where you’d want one. The rest of the boat holds its own too: two Ocean cabins on the main deck with private balconies and queen beds, two Private cabins below with queen beds and ensuites, and a four-bed shared room for groups who’d rather split one price than book a cabin each.

That same care extends to the plainer rooms too. Every cabin on Andalucia is fully air conditioned, and every cabin has its own bathroom, which is not a given on a four-bed shared room across the fleet. No walking a corridor at night, no queue before breakfast. Meals come from the boat’s own kitchen and are served on the shaded main deck as Andalucia moves between islands, and snorkel gear is already aboard for whenever the anchorage calls for it.

Friday out, Sunday back, or your own dates

The shared trip runs a fixed weekly rhythm: pick up Friday morning, the park’s big names through the weekend, and you step off in Labuan Bajo by Sunday midday. Charter Andalucia private and the same islands are yours to reorder, over one day or five, with the route built around your group. Couples tend to book the balcony cabins, groups of four take the shared room and split it, and either way you’re sailing with Andalucia’s own crew.

Komodo Islands

Andalucia works Komodo on a steady weekly beat: out Friday on the shared run, back by Sunday midday, Padar, the dragons and the manta stops in between. Private charters break the rhythm, one to five days on a route of your own.

FAQs

Step into a world where traditional craftsmanship meets modern nautical design. Explore the expansive decks, social lounges, and unique architectural details that make this vessel a premier choice for your island adventure.

Ask by name when you enquire. The Andalucia name now covers a small family of boats, and this page is the original: six cabins, working Komodo’s core islands on its own fixed weekly rhythm. Confirm with us which hull you’re being quoted before you book, since more than one boat now sails under the same family name.

Charter it privately instead, from a single day up to five, whichever count actually fits your trip rather than forcing your dates around Andalucia’s one fixed shared slot. The route gets rebuilt around your group rather than following the weekend’s set order, so a two-day midweek booking sees a different order of islands than the fixed Friday-to-Sunday run does.

A personal guide is included on both the shared trip and private charter, working alongside the crew rather than something you’d need to book separately. It’s part of the standard rate, covering the on-island stops like the dragon walks at Komodo or Rinca.
