Zendaya

5 Cabins

Zendaya keeps it plain: an all-white phinisi with five cabins, two of them proper family rooms with two beds and a sofa each. Padar holds the one balcony, alone on the upper deck.   Book a shared cabin on the fixed weekly schedule, or take the whole boat private for two to four days. It suits families who want a real family cabin, and small groups happy to share the rest.

Overview

White, top to bottom

White, top to bottom, is the first thing you notice about Zendaya: a 23 meter hull painted plain white, with the same clean look carried into all five cabins, white walls and ocean-facing windows instead of carved trim. It is a deliberately minimal build, not much decoration inside or out. If you are after the ornate, heavily carved phinisi look, look elsewhere in the fleet. If you would rather the boat stay out of the way of the scenery, this is it.

The lower deck’s family cabins, and Padar’s balcony

Kanawa and Sabolo sit on the lower deck, built out as family cabins rather than doubles: two double beds and a mini sofa apiece, more floor than the other three cabins carry. Padar, Komodo and Rinca keep to one double bed each. None of the five cabins is ensuite: the boat runs three shared bathrooms for the whole group instead.

Padar sits alone on the upper deck with the boat’s only private balcony and a sea-view window the lower cabins do not get. It is the closest thing Zendaya has to a suite, the pick for two people who want a bit more room than a standard double gives them.

Two ways aboard, evenings unprogrammed

Zendaya sails March through December. Book the shared trip and you’re on a fixed route that departs twice most weeks, so there is rarely a long wait for the next sailing. Book the whole boat instead and the crew builds the days around your group over two to four days, no set route to follow. Either way you’re in one of the same five cabins, sailing the same corner of the park.

Days end on the sundeck or the bean bags up front, nothing more organized than that. Dinner happens under the rear canopy at a shared table, the crew’s chef working from a rotating menu of Indonesian and Western dishes. Nothing about the evenings here is programmed. It suits people who came for a book and the water more than a full activity list.

Komodo Islands

Zendaya's three-day route opens at Kelor and Manjarite, Kalong's bats closing day one. Padar's sunrise climb, Pink Beach and Komodo's dragons follow, Manta Point and turtles at Siaba closing it out. The pace stays unhurried, and the boat's five simple cabins set the tone.

FAQs

Step into a world where traditional craftsmanship meets modern nautical design. Explore the expansive decks, social lounges, and unique architectural details that make this vessel a premier choice for your island adventure.

No, they’re two separate vessels. Zendaya’s own Instagram places it in the same fleet as Dinara, sharing a fleet and a booklet template, but it sails, is priced and is crewed as its own boat, not a rebadge.

Not on the current schedule. Both the Open Trip and Private Charter booklets run Zendaya’s calendar from March through December only, with no sailings published for the remaining months. If your dates fall outside that window, let us know and we’ll match you with a boat that sails then.

No, the plain finish is a styling choice, not a comfort cut: air conditioning, WiFi and the family cabins all work the same as on a more decorated boat. What’s missing is the carved trim and ornamentation some phinisis lean on, not the underlying fit-out. If you want the ornate look, this isn’t it, but the basics aren’t where it saves.

It can, but it isn’t fixed the way it is on the shared trip, where Siaba closes the three-day route on the last morning. A private charter draws from the same pool of stops, so the crew can add more time at Siaba, move it earlier, or swap it out entirely depending on what your two-to-four days are built around.

Featured Vessels

If this one isn't quite it, these sail the same water at close to the same price. Worth a look before you decide.
