Private charter, every time

Adishree doesn’t run shared departures, full stop. Every trip is a private charter, so whoever books this 25 meter phinisi gets the whole boat, not a slice of one. Built in 2015 and launched the year after, it keeps the traditional wooden look while running current comforts throughout: air conditioning in every cabin, hot water, and a crew of eight who work only for your group for the length of the charter.

That same private setup is what lets the route go wherever your group wants. Komodo National Park is the default: Rinca’s dragons, Padar’s ridgeline, the manta cleaning stations, Pink Beach. The boat isn’t fixed to one route, though. Charters further afield run on request. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll check what Adishree can do with it.

One cabin gets the balcony

Five cabins sleep twelve overnight. Two triple cabins and two doubles hold the lower deck, each with a queen bed (plus a single berth in the triples), an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and its own storage. The Master Cabin sits alone on the upper deck: a queen bed, a private bathroom, and, going by the boat’s own listing, a private balcony no other cabin on board gets. If two of you are traveling as part of a bigger group, claim it early.

A diving program, built for groups too

Diving is usually the side option on a leisure phinisi. Adishree carries scuba tanks and a compressor permanently aboard, and its diving charters run three dives a day with a dive master, tank and weight belt included in the price. Equipment rental sits outside that. It isn’t built as a dedicated dive boat, the family-shaped cabins and the karaoke deck say otherwise, but diving here gets a proper program, not a bolt-on.

The family-shaped cabins hint at the other half of the boat’s purpose. A karaoke area, bean bags on deck, board games, and two separate sun decks, Adishree reads like a boat designed around groups who arrived together and want to stay that way. Day trips take up to twenty guests, so it also works as a one-day charter for a big group that doesn’t need to sleep aboard. Either way, the itinerary bends to your pace rather than a schedule shared with people you’ve never met.

FAQs

Adishree prices its private charters by group-size bracket rather than splitting one flat rate per head, so a couple books into a different bracket than a full group of twelve would. Either way you get the whole boat: crew of eight, all five cabins and both sun decks, with nobody outside your group aboard. Ask us for the bracket that matches your headcount when you enquire.

The diving charter price covers three dives a day, the dive master leading them, plus the tank and weight belt. Everything else diving-specific, BCD, regulator, fins, wetsuit, is on you to rent before boarding, since Adishree doesn’t stock spare gear beyond the tanks and compressor it carries permanently. Bring your own dive computer too if you use one; the setup here is built around a leisure-first crowd, not a rental counter.

Adishree doesn’t sell alcohol on board at all, no bar, no bottle list, so anything you want beyond the free water, coffee, tea and soft drinks needs to come with you. Guests are welcome to bring their own, just plan for cooler space and pack it before boarding, since there’s nowhere to buy a top-up once you’re out in the park.

It follows the same day-count ladder as the in-park charters, two days up to seven, just priced off a separate sheet for wherever the trip is headed. Reach out with your dates and the region in mind, since routing for these charters gets confirmed case by case rather than sold off a fixed page.

It depends on the boat, and that’s the honest answer. Many Komodo dive boats take complete beginners, with an intro dive or a course finished on board, while the remote crossings ask for real, current experience. Tell us where you are and we’ll confirm what this boat runs. More on the Diving page.

The route changes before anyone risks a crossing, so most weather problems show up as a different anchorage rather than a cancelled trip. On the rare occasion a trip can’t run at all, we work out a reschedule or a refund with you under our T&C. Itineraries are always a plan, never a promise.

We strongly recommend it, and dive insurance too if you’re diving. It isn’t included in any boat’s price, and out among the islands help is never next door, so a policy that covers boat travel is money well spent. Some dive boats require dive insurance, and we’ll tell you if yours does.

Yes, with a permit. The park requires one for every drone, and approval takes about three working days, so it needs arranging before you travel. There are no same-day permits, and flying without one risks having the drone confiscated. Kalong, Loh Buaya and Loh Liang are permanent no-fly zones, which puts the sunset bat flight off limits. We don’t arrange the permit ourselves, but ask us and we’ll talk you through how it works.

Fly to Labuan Bajo, usually via Bali or Jakarta, and the harbour is minutes from the airport. Come in the day before your boat leaves rather than the same morning: one delayed flight shouldn’t cost you the trip.

Calmer than most people expect. Every water we sail has its own calm window, and rough crossings are rarer than the word “sea” suggests. If you’re prone to motion sickness, take something before you board and you’ll barely notice: it’s the open stretches you feel, never the anchorages.

Less than you think. Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, something long-sleeved for the sun, shoes that can handle a dry ridge, and a dry bag for anything that must stay dry. A soft bag beats a hard suitcase on any boat.

You message us, we check what’s actually free on the boat you’re after, then send everything in writing: the boat, the dates, what’s included and the real price. Happy with it? We issue an invoice and a secure payment link, and written confirmation seals it.

A down payment takes your dates off the calendar, and the balance follows closer to departure. The exact split and timing are on your quotation in writing before you commit to anything.

We issue an invoice with a secure Xendit payment link, sent by email and WhatsApp. You can pay by local or international card, virtual account, e-wallet, or QRIS. Everything is charged in Indonesian rupiah.

Plans shift, and we work with you when they do. Dates can usually be moved once if the boat is free, and if a trip can’t go ahead, we’ll walk you through your options rather than point at fine print. Anything that needs to come back to you returns the way you paid, usually within 7 to 14 business days. The full detail is in our Terms & Conditions.

They’re not included in any boat’s price, but you don’t have to deal with them on the ground. Say the word when you enquire and we’ll add them to your invoice, which locks your permit in before you arrive. No cash, no queue at the harbour the morning you sail.
