6 Cabins

Andamari has worked Komodo since 2019, a 30 meter phinisi whose two master cabins each open onto a private balcony of their own. Six cabins sleep twelve overnight, backed by an onboard water maker and Starlink for real connectivity between stops.   It sails private only: charter the whole boat from a single day to seven, dive setup included for diving trips.

Overview

Two rooms with a view of their own

The usual pattern on a boat this size is one standout cabin and five that are simply fine. Andamari breaks it: both master cabins sit on the upper deck with a queen bed, a working desk, and a private balcony stepping straight out to open water. The four twin cabins below hold two guests each with their own ensuite bathroom, so the whole boat sleeps twelve without anyone ending up on a sofa bed.

Built to go the distance

A private charter running a full week needs a boat that holds up longer than a weekend trip, and Andamari is built for it. A water maker backs up the 4,000 liter tanks, so a long stretch inside the park does not mean rationing showers toward the end. Starlink keeps a working connection running between stops too, which matters more on a seven day charter than it does on an overnight.

That same build handles a different kind of day too. Andamari does double duty. Book it to sleep aboard and it holds twelve guests across six cabins. Book it for a single day out and it is rated for 25, more than most hulls its size will carry, built for a group too large for most boats to take in one trip. Same hull, two very different kinds of Komodo day.

Diving, handled honestly

Dive charters run with a dive master, tanks, weights and three dives a day built into the rate. What is not included is the gear itself, masks, fins, wetsuits, so bring your own or sort a rental in Labuan Bajo before you board. Worth knowing before you book, since a boat carrying tanks and a compressor can read as fully equipped when it is only halfway there.

The years on the water back all of this up. Andamari has been working Komodo since 2019, and it shows in a lived-in way rather than a showroom one, the kind of boat that has already worked out what it is good at. Dive days run organized around three dives, every guest gets a proper cabin rather than a shared bunk, and the hull takes bigger day groups in one boat when a party would otherwise have to split.

FAQs

Step into a world where traditional craftsmanship meets modern nautical design. Explore the expansive decks, social lounges, and unique architectural details that make this vessel a premier choice for your island adventure.

Three dives a day is the shape of it, each one run by a dive master with Andamari’s own tanks and weights aboard, so you’re not waiting on a rental counter between dives. The one thing that’s on you is personal kit, mask, fins, wetsuit, since equipment rental sits outside the charter rate; sort it before you board rather than assume it’s covered.

Andamari’s rate carries free-flow water, coffee and tea as standard, plus a selection of soft drinks on top, a step beyond the usual three-item line most boats quote. Two refreshment rounds a day keep it topped up on overnight charters, so you’re not relying on a single serving at breakfast to see you through until dinner.

Andamari’s rate includes transfer from your hotel or the airport straight to the harbor, so you don’t need to arrange a taxi yourself before boarding. Worth sharing your hotel name and flight details when you book so the crew can time the pickup properly, especially if you’re landing the same morning as departure.
