Nineteen trips run Komodo to Lombok across the 2026 season, twenty run the other way, and that's the whole business: one route, not one of several.   Snorkeling with whale sharks and mantas replaces tanks, and most nights the boat keeps moving while you sleep instead of sitting at anchor. Solo travelers and small groups join a shared cabin on the published dates, alongside whoever else signed up for that one.

Overview

The 2026 calendar is the whole product

Lady Grace has one product: this fixed run between Lombok and Komodo, covered both west and east on its own 2026 dates. Nineteen departures go from Komodo to Lombok, twenty go the other way, spaced nine days apart, 18 April through 9 October, then nothing again until next season.

Pick a date from that list, west or east, and that’s the trip you get: no shorter or longer version, no different stop order to request, just the four days as published, no add-on nights either.

A shuttle and the paperwork, sorted before you board

Two things happen before the boat comes into view. On the Lombok side, guests are collected from one of two named points, The Breakery in Kuta or KFC Paragon in Senggigi, and driven to Kayangan Harbor to meet the boat. On the Labuan Bajo side the same shuttle handles hotel or airport pickup and drop off instead. Neither end needs a taxi arranged separately, and getting between two islands stops being two separate transfers to plan yourself.

A guide and a photographer travel with the group on every trip too, already part of the fare rather than a service you book separately.

Snorkeling with whale sharks and mantas, no tanks required

The water time runs on snorkel gear rather than dive kit: whale sharks off the Sumbawa coast and mantas at Komodo’s own cleaning stations carry the trip, alongside the park’s usual stops at Padar and Pink Beach. There’s no diving product built in. Snorkeling only.

Off the water, the rooms span four price points rather than one flat rate. Most sell as private doubles only, but two of them, Penyu Room and the Captain’s Cabin, also open down to a single guest instead of two, the boat’s one real door for solo travelers on an otherwise couple-priced trip. It’s a genuine option for anyone traveling without a fixed group, not just a discount berth.

More than you’d expect. Kenawa and the whale sharks in Saleh Bay show up on the four-day run either way, but the Sumbawa stop between them swaps: Lombok-to-Komodo trips call at Satonda, Komodo-to-Lombok trips call at Moyo Island’s waterfall instead. Lombok-to-Komodo also finishes with Kelor and Manjarite Islands on the way into Labuan Bajo, a stop the reverse skips entirely.

Most nights, yes. The four-day crossing needs the overnight hours to cover the distance between Lombok and Komodo, so the boat keeps moving through most of the three nights aboard. The exception comes after the Komodo park day, Padar, Pink Beach and Manta Point, when it moors near the closest island instead and picks up again the next morning.

No. Snorkeling equipment is listed as one of the trip’s own inclusions, covering every stop from Saleh Bay’s whale sharks to Komodo’s manta points. Bring your own set only if you’d rather use gear you already trust the fit of, since what’s supplied is a shared kit sized for a group, not fitted to one person.
